Island day

Today at school was kind of an island.  We have tomorrow off, so it is almost as though we have a one day week.  The students knew it and were all a little excitable.  But somehow we made it through, and everyone is thankful for a day off!  The rest of this week will be very unusual as well.  Tuesday election day.  Wednesday I'm being observed by a student teacher.  Thursday is our recycling field trip.  Friday is a half day.  And then just one more full week before Thanksgiving break.  Hooray!
