Christmas journeys

Lots of packing and loading this morning.  Then opening stocking gifts with my family before we headed out on the roads for Virginia.  So glad Jonathan is able to join my family for Christmas this year!  John and Daniel rode with us and we played our traditional 20 questions game between the two cars.  After we made it up there, Mom, Dad, Jonathan, and I went on a short walk and then to get some supplies from the grocery store for dinner, which was salad and an incredible beef stew Uncle David had made.  YUM!  Then we were able to stay at Kendal again this year, in the beautiful old historic house.  So much fun!

Bonus feature:  Picture of John modeling "his" (Grandma's) new shirt....you had to be there....but it was HILARIOUS
