Yes, seize the day! Today I spent the entire day doing what I love most: spending time with people I care about deeply, building as many memories as possible before I have to say goodbye and move back to Rock Hill. It was definitely time well spent.
In the morning, I joined the Rollins family and we went and had a picnic at High Falls Park up on Lake Keowee. Mr. and Mrs. Rollins, Stephen and his girlfriend Ashley, and Jonathan and I all enjoyed a beautiful morning and afternoon walking out on the fishing dock, playing putt-putt, eating a fantastic meal and judging the first ever canine Olympic diving event (a dog was playing fetch off the end of the boat dock and we were grading his jumps into the water), enjoying the lake both from the shore as well as in the water, and just making the most of the time that we had.
That evening, I went to the Maguires for dinner and to just spend time knitting and visiting. Grace came as well, and Rita joined us later on. I ended up spending the night after the two of them left, though, because a wonderful girl named Gretta was giving me a massage and I felt disinclined to cut it short :-). I must say, IKEA memory foam sleeper sofas are AMAZING! Thankful for one of my homes away from home where I always feel loved and welcome.
