My sister Grace was here today, and it was such a blessing to have her here...my day was at least 2 times more productive than it normally is! I was able to get caught up on student corrections, post all of my homework and tests online for the week, write my lesson plans for the week, and just get a lot done while she did other tasks for me.
Then we went up to Charlotte to order a replacement locket (mine is having issues with the clasp but is covered under warranty) and go the Cheesecake Factory to get a slice for her roommate (and one for us to share too of course)! Stopped by Aldi on the way home to get groceries and finally made it back to the apartment. After enjoying our cheesecake, we watched a movie together. I finished up square 25 out of 35 on the blanket I am knitting for Jonathan, which puts me somewhere around 50% done (because there are then 2 borders to do when the blocks are done). All in all, a good day!
