Well, today was certainly a very wet day. And quite cool, which is definitely a change of pace from the typically warm fall we've been experiencing. I enjoyed some excellent lemon tea to soothe my scratchy throat (hopefully the result of allergies only!) this morning, and was thankful that it wasn't too hot outside to truly enjoy the tea.
In good news, Allstate (the other driver's insurance) has officially accepted liability for my claim and will be fixing my car from the sideswiping. The plan is to take it into the shop next Monday. Fortunately, I get a free rental (also covered by Allstate) while the repairs are being done.
Was able to tutor at the Dream Center again today. It was fun, but strange to once again have far more tutors than students there. Ended up in the middle of a hot game of Uno when the 2-5th graders had finished their work. Then played a little ping-pong and tinkered on the piano until the students' rides came.
Definitely looking forward to going home this weekend and seeing so many people. I can't wait! Counting down the days...
