This weekend is the Alpha Omega (Christian Women's Service Fraternity) annual reunion. I'm looking forward to our alumni dinner tonight and catching up with all of the girls who were serving God together at WU. Although our annual reunion once aligned with the Winthrop homecoming, the university has since moved homecoming to the fall, so we have had to alter our schedule. As a result, we now have two weekends each year when alumni try to make it back: homecoming and the reunion. Since I currently live in the Thrill, I get the benefit of attending many of the events from both weekends without having to arrange travel or other plans to make it work out.
I am so thankful that even at a school as liberal as Winthrop, God still blessed me to be with this group of girls during my four years of undergrad studies. Looking forward to a joyous reunion and the opportunity to hear and share what God has been doing in so many lives!
