So, my gmail status recently has been "Faith: that leaning of the entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness." The funny thing about the word entire? Um, just that it means EVERYTHING! I have noticed when I choose some bold prayers or statements, they come back to "haunt" me...
Some examples today of where I had to have faith:
Writing a reflection of a lesson I taught over 3 months ago and can barely remember.
Realizing that we only have 4 1/2 weeks until spring break...and so much content still to cover.
Learning that I'm going to be evaluated a person who has rarely been in my classroom, and never for more than about one minute (and who isn't even officially certified to evaluate in SC!).
Losing one of my favorite earrings, handmade by a friend, and unable to find it after searching over 45 minutes.
Missing FPU tonight due to the search for the earring which is still lost.
Regardless of the size (little or big, it makes no difference) of the issue that comes up in our lives, it is up to us to have FAITH that God will use it for His glory, even if we can't imagine why or how. Trusting that He knows best.
