Yesterday I posted about the little things I needed faith for. Tonight I'm posting about the many ways God has displayed His faithfulness to me today.
-I got off of work an hour early, which gave me time to run some errands which had to be completed before leaving for the weekend.
-I was able to go back to the gym to see if my earring had been located, and when I walked in, there it was, sitting on the bench near the door. I know for a fact it wasn't there yesterday. A little bent, but easily fixed with gentle pressure...good as new!
-Talked with my sister who has signed a bunch of us girls up to do the
Easter Bunny 5K run in Clemson over spring break. I don't know how I'm
going to be prepared in time, but I'm excited to finally participate in a
5K after wanting to for several years.
-Journey Group tonight was so encouraging. We split into groups of guys and girls, and God's presence was so palpable in the ladies' group at least. Sharing about how we have been pruned and how God is using those experiences in our lives. And yet, what joy He brings through the pain of the process. I was able to share the unexplainable sense of peace and joy that I have felt the past few weeks, even in the midst of all the craziness of work and life that has surrounded me. It is truly a blessing to have the opportunity to fellowship with these believers!
-I received an email when I got home tonight that a book on CD that I had ordered through inter-library loan has arrived. I ordered it the beginning of this week after being reminded by a conversation with a friend that it was the last book in a series which I had not yet been able to borrow. Now I'll be able to listen during my drive on Friday and Sunday!
In little and in big ways, God has demonstrated His presence and love for me today. I am so very blessed.
