Learning to let go of my tight-fisted grip on my life. Learning to say no when I hear God prompting me to back away from commitments, even when those commitments are good ones. Learning to trust that my contentment can only come from Him. Learning to lay my hopes and dreams at His feet and leave them there. Learning to ask Him to instill His heart and dreams in me.
Not there yet. Still difficult. Haven't made it. Still holding on. Not grasping them.
Closer than I was. Work in progress. Getting there. One step at a time. Might be seeing a glimmer.
Thankful. Resting. Joyful. Comforted. Blessed.
