Randomness

This has been a really pretty random day.  Got up fairly early to see Clara and Kip off to Clemson.  Then worked on the worship study and tried to check email (internet was acting up...again!).  Got ready and left early for dance class so I could get gas and try to find a pair of shorts to wear under my dress for the final. 

Arrived early for dance, which was fine, because it meant I had time to knit.  Thought I was going to be working on an exhibition dance with Demetri, but he had to leave early.  I ended up staying late helping Marie while she assisted one of the couples with finalizing choreography for their dance routine.  It was fun to see their routine progress--it is going to be super cute!

By the time we finished at 2, I was already pretty hungry, but I decided to go ahead and swim anyway.  So I swam a mile, and as I was swimming I realized I needed to get my hair cut.  So, after I finished I went to get it cut. (Still no food).  Then back home where I had to take a shower to wash all of the icky hair off.  And putting a couple of loads of laundry in so that it would be done before dusk.  Finally, at 4:30 I had "lunch."

Between laundry and washing dishes, the afternoon disappeared quickly.  Oh, and I worked on my budget :-P.  Then I regraded math tests, which became really old really fast.  So, I pretty much gave up on grading until tomorrow.  My brain is tired anyway.

However, in spite of how disjointed my day was, it was such a blessing to be able to make some visible progress and still have time to talk with friends at different points throughout the day.  This was one of the best Saturdays I've had since I moved into my new apartment in terms of not feeling lonely.  God is good.
