So thankful that today was the last day where I'll have my full class all day. As the end of school aproaches, teaching always starts to resemble crowd control, and after no sleep last night, I did not have a lot of energy to utilize in such an endeavor. However, we made it through :-).
Went home to try and take a nap before Journey Group, but I ended up spending a while working on certificates for 8th grade graduation and then having to go back to school to email them to the middle school lead teacher. So even though I rested for a bit, I was still exhausted when I reached Journey Group.
Suzanne brought balloons for me, and Saundra brought flowers from Kadin. It was so nice to feel remembered and cared for. Enjoyed the opportunity to just spend a while with some kind and caring people who love God and each other. I'm going to miss Journey Group this summer while I'm out of town. I left right after Journey Group so that I wouldn't risk falling asleep at the wheel, but it still took me a couple of hours to finally fall asleep once I got home. However, 6-7 hours of sleep is way better than none at this point; and I'm hoping to catch up on some more rest this afternoon and evening, especially since I don't have to volunteer.
Thankful for God's love, good friends, and graduation tomorrow. I don't deserve so much happiness.
