A Sacrifice of Praise

At Journey Group tonight, we focused on the importance of praise and thanksgiving.  One of the things we talked about is how easy it is to focus on things related to us, rather than general praise of God's amazingness throughout the world.  We spent time just reading verses from Psalms aloud to one another: Psalms of praise and thanksgiving.  As we read through Psalms, I kept remembering more and more Scripture songs that we used to sing at CCC.  How refreshing to have God's Word running through my mind!  We then spent time in silent prayer responding to the verses we had heard. It was such an encouraging time for everyone. I was so blessed to be there.
