So thankful to be home!
Our plane rides were not too terrible. I was worried the whole time that we would get behind and not make it. We did have quite the adventure trekking through Europe and back to North America, getting through security and customs and such, but I'm just so happy to be back, finally.
Highlight of the flights: the attendant on the last commuter flight from Newark to Charlotte had quite the sense of humor...that or I was just easily amused. Probably both. It was certainly a nice way to return home on an up note rather than a down note.
I am thankful for going on the trip, because I really did learn a lot, mostly about how I need to fully enjoy the time in between--that time where I feel like I am at a crossroads and have no idea where I am headed. Even though I have peace that God will provide, I need to move beyond that and experience the joy of the present. I have far too many blessings to focus on the questions. Thankful for family and also for my most wonderful friends!
