I've been considering buying a tablet or e-reader for a while, and finally decided on a Kindle Fire HD. At less than $200, the capabilities to access wifi and have 16 GB of memory to store books and other items, the price is really quite reasonable. Placed the order on Amazon, but chose to buy a case and screen protectors from ebay because they were considerably cheaper.
Also did a free one-month trial of Amazon Prime for the faster shipping, which also gives me the ability to utilize the free streaming of TV shows and movie capabilities for the month. So, I"ll get to watch Downton Abbey Season 2 finally! Netflix only has season 1 still, but now I can watch season 2 for free!
