Okay, so yeah, the title is a little strange today. But when thinking of Labor Day, I thought of the Labors of Hercules...and then started comparing all of my different visits today to his many seemingly impossible labors. I know that my visits were certainly possible--they all happened!--but I also know that to fit in so many is improbable.
Visit 1:
Breakfast at the Maguires. Enjoyed spending the weekend at their house and sleeping on their fantastic memory foam couch. SO comfy!
Visit 2:
Early lunch with Mrs. Rollins. We went out to Ruby Tuesday for the salad bar and a great time to just talk and spend time together.
Visit 3:
Picked up Rita and headed to Jess and Angie's to enjoy chicken salad on croissants, and amazing homemade sandwich cookies while watching Jane Austen's Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow. Classic!
Visit 4:
Home to see the family. Mom was back from Sister + 1 weekend. So wonderful to see her and have dinner with all of my sisters and Daniel and Dad.
Visit 5:
Phone call visit with Rita while we drove to AU for me to pick up a mattress pad!
Visit 6:
Phone call visit with Mrs. Rollins while I drove home. Since we had such a short time this morning, it was good to finish some of our conversation!
Visit 7:
Texting visit with Jonathan after he finished the Labor Day picnic in Arizona.
