Beautiful Sunday! The weather is cooler than it has been and there is a moderate breeze. Church at 9:30 this morning. The sermon was quite good. They have started a new series called You.Me.We (on marriage and relationships in general) and it was good to hear some familiar passages discussed from a slightly different perspective. Two things that stood out to me were that after the wedding we should expect a war (spiritual) because Satan hates godly marriages, and that the only way to have a marriage that glorifies God is to keep our personal relationships with Him solid. Definitely good reminders.
After church, I went grocery shopping. Came home for about an hour before heading back to church to help with data entry for people interested in joining Journey Groups. Was completely pleasantly surprised when Jonathan called and we were able to talk for almost an hour while he drove down to Eager and prepared for church. Such a blessing!
Did a little more grading for writing classes this afternoon. Tonight I get to serve in the infant nursery for the first time in ages. Looking forward to loving on some babies! Yay!
